Carrie’s Bio:
Carrie Silver-Stock, is a licensed clinical social worker and an award winning author. She is founder and CEO of Girls with Dreams.com, a safe place where girls get new ideas and support for some of their toughest problems. The mission is simple: girls will empower one another to build their best lives while learning how to take action and make a positive impact in their own lives and the world. Girls With Dreams is a proud member and Confidence Builder of the Confidence Coalition. The Confidence Coalition mobilizes the many organizations, companies and individuals that promote self-esteem and confidence among girls and women.
Carrie has collaborated with community organizations including schools, hospitals, and the Girl Scouts. As a former radio talk show host, social worker, and life coach, Carrie has also appeared on NBC, FOX, WB, ABC Radio, On the Road with IV, Guidelines for Mental Health (Cable TV), Women’s Media, Working Women’s Show, numerous St. Louis venues, and has had articles published in a variety of media outlets. Carrie has taught at local colleges and presented workshops nationally as well as at University Missouri St. Louis.
When Carrie’s not working on Girls With Dreams you can find her in St. Louis spending time with her husband, two boys, and two dogs.
